    Definitions & Functions

EA lead screw is a transmission pair that converts rotary motion into linear motion. It must not only be able to accurately transmit motion, but also transmit a certain amount of power, so there are certain requirements in terms of precision, strength and wear resistance. Every process of lead screw processing, from blank to finished product, needs to be carefully considered to improve machining accuracy.

    Usage

In terms of construction, the embedded slab needs to be pre-implanted in the concrete structure before or during the construction process, and its role is to provide structural support, avoid concrete cracks and deformation, and also facilitate the construction of subsequent processes. The specific installation method includes digging pits, erecting frames, welding and fixing, grouting and other steps to ensure the installation quality and stability of the embedded slabs

    Classify

Lead screws can be divided into three categories according to their friction characteristics: sliding lead screws, rolling lead screws and hydrostatic lead screws.

    How it works

The principle of operation of the lead screw is based on the mating movement of a threaded lead screw and a nut. A threaded lead screw is a metal rod with a threaded texture, and its texture can be in shapes such as triangle, rectangle, or trapezoid. The nut is a metal ring with internal threads. When the threaded screw rotates, the nut will move along the axis of the screw, realizing the transformation from rotary motion to linear motion. By controlling the direction and angle of rotation of the lead screw, the position of the nut on the lead screw can be precisely controlled, so this principle is particularly suitable for applications that require precise control of linear motion.

    Fields of application

Lead screws are widely used in a variety of fields, including but not limited to the following:

CNC machine tools: lead screws are an important part of high-speed and high-precision motion control in CNC machine tools, which affects the positioning accuracy and processing quality of CNC machine tools.
Printing machinery: The lead screw is mainly used in the printing machinery to control the up and down, left and right movement of the printing platform to realize the positioning and alignment of the printed matter.
Packaging machinery: The lead screw is mainly used in packaging machinery to control the movement and positioning of bag making machines, sealing machines, cutting machines, coding machines, etc.
Injection Molding Machinery: Lead screws are mainly used in injection molding machinery to control the closing and opening of injection molding heads and molds, and to control injection stroke and speed.
Other mechanical equipment: Lead screws are also widely used in various other mechanical equipment, such as elevators, vending machines, automatic doors, etc.
